The Vacation Requests Extension provides some additional features to make vacation requests easier to manage.

Gravity Flow and the Vacation Requests Extension has replaced our previous SharePoint-based system and allows our associates and managers to easily and efficiently submit and approve vacation requests. Everyone loves it. Our associates fill out a simple online form, indicating the dates they are requesting to take off. When they submit, it gets routed to their manager, who can approve or reject the request with one click – even if they are on their mobile phones. Approved requests automatically go to HR. We have received many comments from our employees about the ease of the system.

Features & Benefits

The Gravity Flow Stripe Extension allows workflows to authorize payments during the initial form submission (pre-orders), capture or cancel the payment at a later date, refund payments and create and cancel recurring subscriptions.

For example, the form can take the credit card details and authorize a payment during the initial form submission. Then the form can have a series of User Input and Approval steps to complete a process. Then at the end of the process the payment is captured.

The extension includes 4 step types:

Capture Payment – collects a payment that was authorized during the initial form submission.

Cancel Payment – voids the payment authorization.

Refund Payment – processes the refund of the payment (supports refunds of payments made for the current entry or any Stripe transaction made by any other form).

Cancel Subscription – cancels a subscription made by the current entry or a different entry.

Note that Stripe will automatically cancel (expire) an authorisation after 7 days so the workflow will need to capture the payment within one week.

Using the FTP Extension for Entry Automation, your entries can be sent to your FTP or SFTP server after the export file has been generated.

Installing FTP Extension

FTP Extension can be installed from the Entry Automation plugin settings page, found in the Gravity Forms Settings section. After you’ve entered in your license key, a list of available extensions will be listed. If your license does not have access to the FTP Extension, an “Upgrade License” button will be available to get access to the extension.

Click the “Install Extension” button next to the FTP Extension to download it to your WordPress site. Then, click the “Activate Extension” button to activate the extension.

Setting Up FTP Exports

When FTP Extension is activated, a new FTP Settings tab is added to the Entry Automation task settings screen when setting up an Export Entries task.

The FTP Settings tab contains fields to enter your FTP server host, username, password and destination folder path. When entering these settings, an icon will appear next to the fields stating whether or not they’re valid. You can also select if the server is an FTP or SFTP server.

Using the Dropbox Extension for Entry Automation, your entries can be sent to your Dropbox account after the export file has been generated.

Installing Dropbox Extension

Dropbox Extension can be installed from the Entry Automation plugin settings page, found in the Gravity Forms Settings section. After you’ve entered in your license key, a list of available extensions will be listed. If your license does not have access to the Dropbox Extension, an “Upgrade License” button will be available to get access to the extension.

Click the “Install Extension” button next to the Dropbox Extension to download it to your WordPress site. Then, click the “Activate Extension” button to activate the extension.

Authenticating with Dropbox

After activating Dropbox Extension, refresh the Entry Automation plugin settings page. There will be a new “Dropbox Settings” section with a “Click here to authenticate with Dropbox.” button. Click the button to authenticate with Dropbox. After going through the Dropbox authentication flow, you will be brought back to the Entry Automation plugin settings page and have been successfully authenticated.

Setting Up Dropbox Exports

When Dropbox Extension is activated and you have authenticated with Dropbox, a new Dropbox Settings tab is added to the Entry Automation task settings screen when setting up an Export Entries task.

The Dropbox Settings tab contains a field to enter in the destination path in your Dropbox account to upload the file to. Live validation is provided to ensure the export file is able to be uploaded to the defined path.
