Using PublishPress Checklists, you can define tasks that must be complete before content is published.

Create your own checklist

Next to every post and page, writers see a checklist box, showing the tasks they need to complete. Tasks can either be recommended or required.

As writers complete each item, the red text automatically turns to green.

Custom Rules

In addition to the default rules, you can also create your own rules. Click “Add custom item” to create as many rules as you want.

Configure

Each item on the checklist can be configured to meet your site’s needs. You can decide whether items are recommended, required or ignored. You can also set maximum and minimum values.

Confirm

If the writers don’t complete all the requirements, they’ll see a pop-up message telling them what they need to do.

Yoast SEO integration. Why not ensure you have the green checkmark before publishing?

Check for the correct spelling of certain names, such as “WordPress”, or your brand name.

Scan for broken links.

Check for a certain number of internal links.

Look for missing alt tags and title tags.

Force a certain size for featured images. This is great for themes that need images to be a certain height and width.

Avoid using certain HTML tags, such as H1, H4 and even color or marquee tags!

By default, WordPress only allows you to add one author to each post. PublishPress Authors allows you to add as many authors you want.

PubllishPress Authors allows you to add the authors, and also it enables you to display their information. With this add-on, you can show the authors’ names, images and bios.

Finally, you can create Guest Authors who appear just like regular authors … only they don’t need their own WordPress account.

Add Multiple Authors to your content

With PublishPress Authors, you can set multiple authors for each post and display their information in your site.

When you write a post, you’ll see a box in the right sidebar. Here you can choose from all the users on your site, and assign them as authors.

When the post goes live, you’ll be able to see the author’s avatar, together with a link to their profile.

Instead of manually editing your template files, PublishPress Authors gives you several different options to display the authors’ box:

Add Guest Authors

PublishPress helps you avoid the need to create a new WordPress account for every author.

Using the PublishPress Authors, you can create Guest Authors who don’t need an account on your site. PublishPress will treat Guest Authors identically to Authors who are linked users. You will be able to select and display Guest Authors in exactly the same way as for mapped users.
