Keeping customers on the checkout screen is a great way to improve conversion rates. When customers get distracted and leave the checkout screen, perhaps to select different product options, they are far more likely to abandon their purchase.

When a product includes multiple purchase options, such as license levels, allowing customers to select the price option they wish to purchase from the checkout screen can help prevent customers from leaving the checkout screen if they change their mind on which option to purchase.

Imagine you sell a product that has three license options:

• Silver
• Gold

If each level is similar, customers may not always be immediately sure which option they wish to purchase. With products that offer multiple license levels, customers often change their mind once they reach the checkout screen and wish to change their selected license. For single-product sites, or sites that do not need a shopping cart, this extension provides a “Disable cart on checkout page” option that will remove the shopping cart from the checkout page. This feature can be used in combination with the pricing switcher to simplify the checkout process.

A note about privacy:

This plugin uses a single cookie to keep track of the pages a visitor views on your site. The only data this add-on can access and store are the URLs of pages the customer browsed within your site along with a timestamp. No personal nor identifying data is ever gathered by this plugin in any way. In other words, neither you nor your customers have any reason to worry about privacy.

License renewals

Included with Software Licensing is a complete renewal system to allow customers to renew their license keys when they are nearing expiration. The renewal system provides automated email reminders that can be sent to customers when a license is about to expire, and from the email customers can, with a single click, go directly to your store and renew their license key.

Renewal discounts can be configured by site administrators to help incentivize customers to renew their license keys.

Site administrators can also manually renew license keys on behalf of customers at anytime, or manually email renewal notices to customers.

Software Licensing also provides a complete reporting view that displays a graph of license renewals and earnings from those renewals over time so you can better understand how many customers renew their licenses.

Ever wanted to offer your customers a discount for sharing or liking products on your website? This plugin does exactly that. It also allows you to share standard posts and pages, and products from a completely different post/page on your website. By turning off the discount functionality altogether, you can also use it as a simple sharing tool.

How it works

The plugin listens for events triggered by the various social networks. When it detects that a user has shared or liked your product, the discount is instantly applied, and a customizable thanks title and message is shown; all without the page refreshing.

By default, the sharing buttons will be shown automatically after the content on all your products. By using the included shortcode you can fine tune the placement on a per product basis, or even include the sharing buttons on posts and/or pages.
